It seems like yesterday, I was attending a four day grant training class in Albuequrque, New Mexico. I learned that to obtain a free government grant one has to build relationships.
You heard right, one must be able to work with local government officials, state representatives, corporations, and other nonprofits. Why?
Obtaining grants is about making your community better, people make up communities thats why it's important to understand the nonprofit arena is about helping make people lives better than they were before you met them.
The Wealth Building Academy is sponsoring, "The Grant Money Success Program" to help people learn how to obtain "FREE MONEY." Last year the Paul Lawrence Vann Foundation applied for and received a grant in support of it's youth financial literacy and authorship program.
The Grant Money Success Program will teach you how to obtain government grants, we focus on what you're passionate about in your community and how you can see it through to fruition. Information about the event is listed as follows:
